Cheryl Jorgenson, PharmD, MS, CSP

Chief Clinical Officer

Previously, Cheryl was the Vice President of Clinical Services and Director of Prior Authorization Programs. She brings over 25 years in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services industry, providing clients with professional expertise in analysis of clinical outcomes for disease state management programs, claims adjudication, clinical programs, cost containment, formulary development and medication use.

Prior to joining PDX, Cheryl was a joint owner of a specialty pharmacy that served patients with bleeding disorders. Previous employment includes Director of Prior Authorization and Account Management at Medco, Vice President of Pharmacy Operations at Patient Care, Vice President of Pharmacy Operations at ValueRx (Value Health) and a Nuclear Pharmacist at Syncor.

Cheryl, her husband, Tom, and their three children moved to Texas from the Washington DC area over twelve years ago. Favorite hobbies are riding horses, fishing on the lake and spending time with her family.

Cheryl earned a Masters in Healthcare Informatics from the University of South Florida and a Biology Degree from the University of Central Florida. She then obtained her doctorate of Pharmacy from Mercer University. Certifications include, Certified Specialty Pharmacist, Radio Active Materials license, Certificate in MTM, Certificate in POC testing, and Certified in Immunizations & Certified in IV Infusions.
