Chief Information Officer
Before being named CIO in 2018, Louis led North America and Latin America IT platforms and infrastructure teams for the global giant, Citibank. His responsibilities included Digital Cloud Enablement and platform adoption supporting hundreds of Agile teams. The cloud-based technology included support for consumer facing services such as ATM’s, mobile applications, and Citibank on-line, with accountability for large scale Pivotal Cloud Foundry instances, and GemFire clusters.
Prior to Citibank Louis was CIO of Omnisys, a national firm focusing on healthcare transaction processing, primarily Medicare Part B. Louis’ hands-on approach has always involved understanding the data metrics that bring meaningful touchpoints to everyday healthcare. Louis guided the team to a platform rewrite from its legacy technology to a robust enterprise platform, while not stuttering growth opportunities or missing customer expectations.
When not engaged with the complexities of data encryption high volume transaction response times, Louis enjoys time with his 12-year-old son working on “space & time travel” experiments and, as a personal hobby, he loves a nice round of golf. “It’s not only the game itself, but the camaraderie, the beauty of the outdoors, the relaxation…there is really nothing like it.”
Louis is a life-long Texan born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
